Core Technical Skills

1. Software Development

 Proficient in Python and .NET (C#) for backend development.

 Ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable software solutions.   Familiarity with Clean code, architecture, principles and design patterns  Familiarity with event-driven and/or distributed architecture

1. DevOps & Automation

  Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

  Strong knowledge of GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins for version control and automation.  Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.

1. Containerization & Orchestration

  Solid practical experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

  Working knowledge of Istio for service mesh implementation and management.  Experience deploying and managing applications using Helm charts.

1. Frontend Development (Preferred)

 Experience with modern frontend frameworks, especially Vue.js and/or Angular.  Ability to collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to UI/UX improvements.

Networking & Automation

1. Cisco Networking Concepts

 Proficiency in core networking principles at the CCNP level, CCIE desirable

 Working knowledge with Cisco networking devices, protocols, and basic configurations.

1. Network Automation

  Experience automating networking tasks and workflows (using Python, Ansible, or other relevant tools).

  Exposure to scripting, APIs, and working with network appliances from Cisco or other vendors.

1. Cisco DevNet Certification highly desirable

Cloud Platform Management

1. Amazon Web Services (AWS)

1. Public Cloud Resource Management

  Experience managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

  Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and resource monitoring.  Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures and best practices.

  Experience with cloud migration strategies and implementation.

Security & Compliance

1. Security Best Practices

  Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP security principles.

  Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML).  Knowledge of encryption standards and secure data transmission protocols.

  Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and security testing methodologies.

1. Compliance & Governance

  Understanding of industry compliance standards (SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA).  Experience with security frameworks and controls implementation.

  Knowledge of data privacy regulations and secure data handling practices.  Familiarity with audit processes and compliance reporting requirements.

1. Cloud Security

  Experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty).  Understanding of cloud security models and shared responsibility principles.

  Knowledge of container and Kubernetes security best practices.

  Experience with security monitoring and incident response procedures.
