Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, and DevOps automation, with experience building scalable microservices and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support cloud-native applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, and Rancher.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and GitOps practices.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP Stackdriver.
- Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop automation solutions using Python and Shell scripting.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps.
- Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with Oracle, DB2, MySQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
