Job Description

The Job... ● Gather and evaluate user requirements and personas in collaboration with the UI/UX Designers, Product Managers, and UI developers. ● Research and analyze industry UI/UX trends and strategies. ● Translate ideas into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. ● Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects to participate in research ● Create and iterate on personas that are used by cross functional stakeholders to understand user needs ● Benchmark competitor experiences. ● Work with product teams to design user-friendly forms, applications, interfaces, and elements based on functional specifications. ● Make strategic design and user-experience recommendations related to core, and new, functions, and features. ● Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs. ● Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
● Collaborate with your design partners to build a variety of test artifacts ranging from low fidelity concept sketches to full scale interactive prototypes to test and inform our customer experiences forward. You... ● At least four years of work experience in statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, product usability moderating, experimental design, and test method selection. ● Experience in E-Commerce or FinTech preferred. ● Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Association, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Information Science, or any other related field. Or a working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable for the position. ● A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns. ● Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients. ● Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently. ● Knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodologies in the development life cycle. ● Positive, collaborative attitude and a good sense of humor. ● Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel analytical tools, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Sketch, InDesign, Illustrator, Keynote, and Photoshop computer software. ● Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus, but not required. ● A decorated surgeon in developing product testing structures and an amazing ability to conduct in person, or virtual, 1:1 qualitative research testing sessions that do not introduce bias and get to the root of validating or invalidating our test artifacts. ● A candidate for this position must display a genuine passion for product-centric innovation; an ability to work well independently as well as with a team; must have keen and exceptional attention to detail; and more importantly, an ability to identify root recommendations inspired by the consumers' needs and behaviors.
