The focus of this request is to harness knowledge and expertise of a reputable Oracle Position Control subject matter expert to conduct analysis, deliver best practice configuration, operational process efficiencies and implement recommendations for Position Control for the future. Overall, the City is looking to enhance Oracle efficiencies and achieve digital transformation benefits for the City.
The City is seeking to partner with a skilled Oracle Techno/Functional resource who can provide Oracle subject matter guidance, functional recommendations, and oversee implementation and training to the City to ensure successful delivery.

Expertise with Position Control is crucial.
Role Skill/Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrate Best Practice Functional/Configuration expertise for maximized Position control configuration, assist in implementing, and training to ensure that Position Control configuration and all related interface dependencies are clearly understood and maintainable.
II. Be able to speak both functional and technical language
III. Have experience with hands-on Position Control Implementation
IV. Have experience integrating with 3rd party systems
The selected candidate will:
I. Be very experienced - 8-10+ years in Oracle Position Control (needs to understand user needs, how Oracle works, and possess solid design skills/experience - aka a good 'Design Architect)
II. Have 2-3 years experience with Oracle Position Control implementations
III. Emphasis leans more toward functional knowledge of Oracle. The successful candidate must be able to evaluate optional solutions, design/author robust design documentation as needed, and thoroughly test solutions.
The project/role will require/involve:
I. Working with a local team to transform the Oracle Position Control configuration and interfaces, and author the needed accompanying documentation. The ability to identify (and recommend) alternate options for achieving the goals of the business will be important. The role will need to be able to explain the impacts of different options and communicate the pros and cons of each option.
II. Testing the new Oracle Position Control configuration and ensuring clean/efficient integrations utilizing position control.
V. Lead Training and roll out efforts to ensure learning and adoption of new Position Control set-ups and business process that are the focus of implementation.
